The position is responsible for routine Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance management of The Geysers geothermal power generation facilities. While this position will serve as the main point of contact for the Steamfield, the work will encompass many working groups including other power plants and auxiliary departments such as projects and central maintenance. Responsible for complex, technical work in a wide range of EHS disciplines to maintain compliance with the organization’s EHS standards, federal and state regulatory requirements, and consensus industry standards. Reviews and interprets EHS rules and regulations and advises management accordingly. Has complete understanding of EHS principles, concepts, practices, standards and regulations. Coordinates compliance assurance activities with multi-media environmental programs, including air emissions, waste management, and all associated monitoring, reporting, and other permit requirements. Reviews plant EHS procedures and makes recommendations for updates according to laws and regulations and best practices. Champions for event-free operations and risk recognition/mitigation in environmental and safety areas, including Calpine Cardinal Safety Rules and occupational safety compliance. Investigates EHS incidents including accidents/injuries, environmental upsets, and near miss events. Supports employee training related to EHS compliance and emergency preparedness. Prepares and maintains all necessary EHS compliance documents and records.
Job Responsibilities

Role
As an early member of Bedrock’s Engineering team, you will collaborate directly with Bedrock’s leadership team, technology partners, and a growing team of software, electrical, mechanical, and operations engineers to deliver technologies that unlock geothermal heating and cooling at scale. Specifically, you will support the development of crucial surface and subsurface technologies that enable autonomous geo-field construction. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy electrical and/or electronics hardware and related firmware for downhole tools and surface systems for geothermal heating and cooling applications, including analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and distribution, and signal and communication systems
- Own the electrical design and development life-cycle for these product areas, including developing strong relationships with internal and external partners to continuously improve our designs, systems, and processes

Responsibilities

The Major Gifts Coordinator at Geothermal Rising plays a pivotal role in driving the organization’s mission by securing transformational support from high-value donors.
